As a part of a greater whole, the Integreater® despatch module knits its functionality with inter-related modules in the Integreater® range ie: Sales Order Processing, EDI Order Importer, Multi Site Order Splitter
and Stock Management.
Orders can be manipulated in a number of configurable formats
(ie: order/picking sheets or Tracker views) and sent to the despatch department in print, via computer screen or even through wireless
PDA devices.
PDA handling makes the process more efficient: it allows despatch operators to remain mobile, ‘on the case’ and independent from the office by continually feeding real time data updates wirelessly to their devices: the correct stock to pick, its location based on product description and shelf life availability etc.
Product is assigned to an order through barcode scanning: the system has a facility to despatch whole pallets by simply scanning one barcode. Individual units can however be transferred from these pallets retaining the unit’s individual trace code.
The responsibility for order releases can be restricted and despatch documentation can be customised.
