St Merryn strive to ensure the highest standards and lowest costs for their retail customers. In order to achieve this, the pioneering business have recently installed an automated, robotic warehouse at their Merthyr Tydfil site.
They chose Systems Integration to develop the software, investing in Integreater® to ensure optimum accuracy and efficiency from their NAWI robots.
how it works
The automated warehouse has been designed to optimise the storage and retrieval of ‘work in progress’ raw materials.
By enabling management to have complete visibility and control of infeed, location and outfeed, Integreater® ensures that optimum stock levels are maintained. It details the location of stock in holding chillers and automates the production of picking sheets. Produce is allocated to address the raw material requirements outlined in daily production plans, then delivered to retail packing lines based on customer sales orders.
