Wastage Commitments
It's not all a load of rubbish!
In line with The Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging Wastage) Regulations, we have developed a system which can eliminate the labour intensive task of generating your Packaging Wastage reports. Fed simply from our Bill of Materials application it allows you, the producer, to analyse your commitments week on week, based on production requirements and output. Add to this our Dry Goods management applications and you have full control of your Packaging requirements and commitments. Simple!
The Problem
Retailers have been challenged to reduce Carbon Footprint by the Government. Part of this challenge equates to Retailers requiring information from suppliers to accurately report on the amounts and types of packaging that is being supplied to them along with the goods they receive. The aim of this information is to allow the Retailer to monitor actual levels and monitor reductions on an ongoing basis.
The Solution
The S.I. system has been designed to allow product producers to track the packaging supplied to Retailers. The system uses either sales information from third party systems or other S.I. system modules. The solution provides all the required information to satisfy every aspect of the Retailers demands whilst providing the product producer with the ability to monitor and reduce his packaging weights and ultimately monitor his own carbon footprint.

The Retailer gets the required information in a timely and effective manner without the producer having to spend vast amounts of time gathering and manually reporting on the information using paper based systems, this in its own right allows you to reduce your carbon footprint.
