Carcass Stock
The Carcass Stock application is used primarily to record the weights and product codes for carcass parts after the Kill Line process and to store the traceability information so that it is possible to track the items back to the original animal.
The application allows the operator to book items into different chillers so that Stock can be viewed in the different areas through Stock and Production Tracker and also by running Stock Reports.
Operationally the application is straightforward and easy to use. A Kill label is scanned, the product is selected, the weight is captured from any attached scale and the item is stored in the system.
A Batch label can be produced from the application by request at the end of a run of carcass parts. This can then be used to transfer or despatch multiple stock items in the system by simply scanning one label.
Carcass Stock can also be used in “Issue to Production” mode. This mode allows a carcass part to be created in the stock system, issued to production and removed from stock all at once making the process fast and easy to use.
The application can also be used to book third party labels into the system which is useful if receiving carcasses from external suppliers.
