This explorer styled application sits centrally on the main livestock server for the group and is accessed by operators at each site via Terminal Services. Bookings for producers bringing in batches of cattle (lots) are created and assigned a time slot.
These bookings are created in the main Livestock SQL Server database. The bookings table is replicated using SQL Server replication to other remote site servers( DBS Servers) when running a multi-site operation so that the data can then be accessed locally by the Lairage Management, Touchpanel, OTM stations and Grading Station at each site.
Once the bookings have been placed on the system, they can be viewed via the screen within the application in a diary view, via a report from the Livestock Bookings application or via the Abattoir Bookings page in Livestock Tracker (shown bottom right).
Bookings can be made as far in advance as required.
